Hi everyone,Yep I am just blowing my trumpet or rather one of my students - which I dont do that often, but its not often this happens.This is an example yesterday from accelerated literacy - Year 6 boy who detested writing because it was too hard...It was based on the book ' The Island' and they were asked to write an sentence including time and a list of things that could be found on an island. This is what I got... ' In the dawn of dusk, the sea creatures awoke the island and the treasures rose to be seen. Sea forests of coral and stretched- out sponges, sea singing shells, tangled up sea weed and fish as they nibbled away at the sharks after meal.' Ok so he had to be a boy and put some blood and guts, but ill put up with that.
